In this Example we see 5 beetles. One beetle is just as likely to mate with any other individual in the population. This is random mating because we do not know who he will mate with. The beetle on the left is more likely to mate with the beetle in the middle that matches him. This is called Non-Random Mating because we know who is going to mate with.
